DISCUSSION

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE OHIO VALLEY WILL SHIFT EAST INTO THE MID
ATLANTIC STATES TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY. THIS AS ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM AND COLD FRONT MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PLAINS.
THIS COMBINATION WILL PRODUCE WINDY CONDITIONS AT TIMES ON TUESDAY
WITH SOUTHERLY FLOW INCREASING ACROSS THE REGION. THE SOUTHERLY FLOW
WILL ALSO DRAW MOISTURE NORTHWARD INTO THE REGION, WITH LIGHT RAIN
OR SPRINKLES DEVELOPING BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO TUESDAY NIGHT.
ON WEDNESDAY, THE COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH FROM THE WEST AND BRING
A LARGE AREA OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SHOWERS TO THE AREA. THESE WILL
SHIFT EAST WEDNESDAY EVENING, POSSIBLY CHANGING TO A VERY BRIEF
PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN BEFORE ENDING. THEN, MUCH COLDER AIR WILL
FILTER INTO THE REGION FRO THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY. SMOKE DISPERSION
WILL BE GENERALLY GOOD TO GOOD ON TUESDAY AND FAIR ON WEDNESDAY.

FOG POTENTIAL OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS: NOT EXPECTED.

POTENTIAL FOR RED FLAG CONDITIONS: NOT EXPECTED.
