A FEW WEAK SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE POPPED UP LATE  
THIS AFTERNOON ALONG THE EAST SLOPES OF THE WASHINGTON CASCADES  
SOUTH OF SNOQUALMIE PASS AND OVER THE SIMCOE HIGHLANDS. WEBCAMS  
SHOW WET ROADS OVER SATUS PASS NORTH OF GOLDENDALE. A FEW SHOWERS  
MAY HOLD TOGETHER LONG ENOUGH TO REACH YAKIMA. RAIN AMOUNTS ARE  
EXPECTED TO BE VERY LIGHT. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD  
FADE AWAY IN THE NEXT FEW HOURS WITH SUNDOWN AND THE LOSS OF  
DAYTIME HEATING.

STRIKES HAVE DEVELOPED OVER THE WALLOWA MOUNTAINS LATE THIS  
AFTERNOON. THE SHOWERS ARE MOVING NORTHEAST INTO FAR EASTERN  
WALLOWA COUNTY. RAIN AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE VERY LIGHT. THE  
SHOWERS AND ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP SHOULD FADE AWAY IN THE  
NEXT FEW HOURS WITH SUNDOWN AND THE LOSS OF DAYTIME HEATING.
