CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST WISCONSIN..  
   
SYNOPSIS
 
AFTER ONE OF THE WETTEST SUMMERS ON RECORD ACROSS THE  
AREA, BELOW NORMAL PRECIPITATION HAS BEEN REPORTED SINCE EARLY  
SEPTEMBER WHICH HAS LED TO ABNORMALLY DRY OR MODERATE DROUGHT  
CONDITIONS ACROSS THE AREA.  
 
SINCE SEPTEMBER 1ST: GREEN BAY HAS ONLY RECORDED 2.85 INCHES OF  
PRECIPITATION OR 38% OF NORMAL. AT RHINELANDER, 5.03 INCHES OF  
PRECIPITATION HAS BEEN RECORDED OR 63% OF NORMAL. AT WAUSAU,  
4.84 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION HAS BEEN RECORDED OR 58% OF NORMAL.  
 
DROUGHT LEVELS ACROSS NORTH-CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST WISCONSIN ARE  
BASED ON THE NOVEMBER 23RD UNITED STATES DROUGHT MONITOR. THE  
DROUGHT CATEGORIES ARE:  
 
D4 - EXCEPTIONAL DROUGHT D3 - EXTREME DROUGHT D2 - SEVERE DROUGHT  
D1 - MODERATE DROUGHT D0 - ABNORMALLY DRY

OUTAGAMIE, PORTAGE, SHAWANO, WAUPACA, WAUSHARA - ALL BUT FAR

THE LATEST FIRE DANGER RATING FROM THE WISCONSIN  
DNR INDICATED THE FIRE DANGER IS IN THE LOW TO MODERATE CATEGORY.  
 
.DROUGHT OUTLOOK FOR NORTH-CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST WISCONSIN:  
 
AN ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE SATURDAY INTO SATURDAY NIGHT,  
THAT COULD BRING SOME MUCH NEEDED MOISTURE TO THE REGION.  
 
SIGNIFICANT PRECIPITATION IS NOT IN THE FORECAST OVER THE NEXT  
WEEK.  
 
BEYOND THIS TIME FRAME, THE 8 TO 14-DAY FORECAST (DEC 3-9) FROM  
THE CLIMATE PREDICTION CENTER (CPC) CALLS FOR GREATER CHANCES OF  
ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND GREATER CHANCES FOR BELOW NORMAL  
PRECIPITATION.  
 
DURING DECEMBER, THE CLIMATE PREDICTION CENTER INDICATED NEARLY  
EQUAL CHANCES OF WARMER, NEAR NORMAL OR BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES.  
THERE IS A GREATER CHANCE FOR WETTER THAN NORMAL CONDITIONS ACROSS  
THE AREA.
