AT DULUTH MN...  
 
THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR MARCH WAS 24.9 DEGREES WHICH WAS 1  
DEGREE BELOW THE NORMAL OF 25.9 DEGREES. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE  
FOR THE MONTH WAS 58 DEGREES ON THE 27TH. THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE  
WAS -19 DEGREES ON THE 4TH. ONE DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORD WAS BROKEN  
FOR THE MONTH. ON THE 4TH A RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE OF -19 DEGREES  
WAS SET. THIS BROKE THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF -18 DEGREES SET IN 1875.

HIGHEST SUSTAINED WIND OCCURRED ON THE 24TH WITH A WIND FROM THE  
EAST AT 30 MPH. A PEAK WIND GUST OF 39 MPH WAS RECORDED ON THE  
14TH OUT OF THE NORTH NORTHWEST.  
 
THERE WERE 1237 HEATING DEGREE DAYS FOR THE MONTH WHICH WAS 27 ABOVE  
THE NORMAL OF 1210. THIS BROUGHT THE SEASONAL TOTAL TO 8107 WHICH

FOR THE MONTH WHICH WAS NORMAL. THE SEASONAL TOTAL COOLING DEGREE  
DAYS STANDS AT 0 WHICH WAS NORMAL.

TO THE MID TO UPPER 50S AT THE END OF THE MONTH. NORMAL LOWS FOR THE  
MONTH START IN THE MID 20S AND WARM TO THE MID 30S AT THE END OF  
THE MONTH. NORMAL PRECIPITATION FOR APRIL IS 2.43 INCHES. NORMAL  
SNOWFALL FOR APRIL IS 6.9 INCHES. THE LATEST CLIMATE PREDICTION  
CENTER OUTLOOK INDICATES THAT ODDS ARE TILTED TOWARD ABOVE NORMAL
