WINTER STORM WARNINGS AND WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES ARE IN EFFECT  
THROUGH TONIGHT FOR WIDESPREAD ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL. BLOWING AND  
DRIFTING OF SNOWFALL IS LIKELY. TRAVEL IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED. THE  
HIGHER SNOWFALL TOTALS WILL BE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN TWO TIERS OF  
COUNTIES TOWARDS ILLINOIS AND ALSO IN EAST DUE TO LAKE  
ENHANCEMENT.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY  
 
SNOW WILL WIND DOWN WEST TO EAST SATURDAY MORNING, EXCEPT FOR  
LINGERING LAKE EFFECT IN THE EAST SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND  
OVERNIGHT. SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL LINGER TOWARD  
ILLINOIS AND ALSO IN THE EAST TOWARD LAKE MICHIGAN. THE WARNINGS  
AND ADVISORIES WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING IN THE EAST,  
LINGERING INTO THE EVENING IN THE SOUTHEAST TOWARD LAKE MICHIGAN  
DUE TO THE LAKE EFFECT POTENTIAL.

BRISK EAST TO NORTHEAST WINDS AND HIGH WAVES WILL DEVELOP  
TONIGHT, WITH GUSTS TO 30 KNOTS IN THE SOUTH. MODERATE FREEZING  
SPRAY IS EXPECTED.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY  
 
BRISK NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS WILL CONTINUE SATURDAY INTO  
SATURDAY NIGHT. WIND GUSTS MAY APPROACH GALE FORCE GUSTS OVER THE  
SOUTH HALF OF THE LAKE. HIGH WAVES AND HEAVY FREEZING SPRAY ARE  
EXPECTED, WITH A HEAVY FREEZING SPRAY WARNING IN EFFECT ACROSS THE  
NORTH.  
 
BRISK SOUTHERLY WINDS AND HIGH WAVES WILL THEN DEVELOP FOR MONDAY  
INTO TUESDAY FOLLOWED BY BRISK NORTHWEST WINDS TUESDAY NIGHT INTO  
WEDNESDAY WITH THE PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT. MODERATE FREEZING
