WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS, WHICH  
IS THE AVERAGE OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVE, ALONG WITH THE  
AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10% OF THE WAVES WHICH WILL  
OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.  
   
SYNOPSIS
 
 
 
A SURFACE TROUGH WILL MOVE EAST ACROSS THE LAKE THIS EVENING,  
SHIFTING WINDS TO THE NORTHWEST TO NORTH LATER TONIGHT AND  
WEAKENING THEM INTO MONDAY MORNING. LOW PRESSURE OF 29.5 INCHES  
WILL MOVE NORTHEAST FROM THE SOUTHERN PLAINS INTO CENTRAL INDIANA  
TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY. IT SHOULD STRENGTHEN TO 29.4 INCHES AS IT  
SHIFTS INTO THE NORTHEASTERN PART OF THE COUNTRY LATER NEXT WEEK.  
 
THE LOW WILL BRING A PROLONGED PERIOD OF GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS  
AND BUILDING WAVES LATER MONDAY INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.  
GALES ARE EXPECTED AT TIMES TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO WEDNESDAY  
EVENING, MAINLY FOR THE SOUTH HALF OF LAKE MICHIGAN.
