A WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR LOCATIONS ALONG AND WEST  
OF THE ALLEGHENY FRONT IN GARRETT, WESTERN GRANT, WESTERN  
PENDLETON, AND WESTERN HIGHLAND COUNTIES FROM 10 AM THURSDAY  
THROUGH LATE FRIDAY NIGHT. A PROLONGED PERIOD OF UPSLOPE SNOW WILL  
CAUSE 6 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ON THE  
HIGHEST RIDGES. THE COMBINATION OF SNOW, BLOWING SNOW, AND STRONG  
WINDS WILL SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE VISIBILITY AT TIMES ALONG WITH  
INCREASING THE POTENTIAL FOR DOWNED TREES AND POWERLINES.
