THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT  
 
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH TONIGHT  
OVER MUCH OF ARKANSAS. AN ISOLATED STRONG TO BRIEFLY SEVERE STORM  
WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF  
PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS, DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND LOCALIZED HEAVY  
RAINFALL. THE HEAVY RAIN MAY PRODUCE LOCALIZED FLOODING.  
 
PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN ARKANSAS MAY SEE HEAT INDEX VALUES IN THE 90S  
TO AROUND 105 DEGREES THROUGH SUNSET.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY  
 
THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL GRADUALLY LOWER TOWARD THE END  
OF THE WEEK, AND ESPECIALLY OVER THE WEEKEND. ONLY AN ISOLATED  
STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE  
PERIOD.  
 
HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL REMAIN A CONCERN THROUGH MUCH OF THE  
PERIOD AS WELL. MOST LOCATIONS WILL SEE HEAT INDEX VALUES IN THE  
UPPER 90S TO AROUND 105 DEGREES. SOME AREAS MAY SEE HEAT INDEX  
VALUES EXCEED 105 DEGREES DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS,  
PARTICULARLY THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
