THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TONIGHT  
 
DRY WEATHER WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT. THE WILDFIRE DANGER REMAINS  
ELEVATED WITH THE ARKANSAS FORESTRY COMMISSION INDICATING A MODERATE  
TO HIGH DANGER ACROSS ARKANSAS. BURN BANS ARE POSTED FOR ALMOST HALF  
THE COUNTIES ACROSS THE STATE.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY  
 
DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ON FRIDAY. HOWEVER, MOISTURE LEVELS  
WILL START REBOUNDING BY SATURDAY AS A STORM SYSTEM AND COLD FRONT  
APPROACH FROM THE PLAINS.  
 
AHEAD OF THE FRONT, STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY  
DEVELOP FROM SOUTHEAST KANSAS INTO CENTRAL AND EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND  
NORTHERN TEXAS SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. PRECIPITATION WILL  
BUILD INTO WESTERN ARKANSAS MOSTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT, AND WILL TEND TO  
WEAKEN. EVEN SO, SOME SEVERE WEATHER IS POSSIBLE, WITH DAMAGING  
WINDS THE MAIN CONCERN.  
 
SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ON SUNDAY ACROSS  
MUCH OF THE REGION, ESPECIALLY IN THE MORNING. RAINFALL FROM A HALF  
INCH TO AN INCH AND A HALF WILL BE WIDESPREAD, WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS  
OVER TWO INCHES.  
 
THE FRONT WILL EXIT TO THE SOUTHEAST ON MONDAY. COOLER AND DRIER AIR  
WILL FOLLOW EARLY NEXT WEEK.
