WEATHER SUMMARY FOR THE LOCAL TRI-STATE REGION
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
329 PM EDT SAT OCT 21 2017

HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED TO OUR EAST WILL PROTECT THE TRI-STATE FROM
ANY WEATHER SYSTEMS THROUGH THE REST OF THE WEEKEND AND INTO THE
BEGINNING OF THE NEW WORK WEEK. WITH SOUTHERLY FLOW, IT WILL ALSO
PROVIDE ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES FOR MUCH OF THE AREA. LOWS
TONIGHT WILL BE IN THE 50S TO LOWER 60S ALONG THE COAST AND INTO
THE NEW YORK CITY METRO AREA. OUTSIDE THE METRO AREA, LIGHT WINDS
AND CLEAR SKIES WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO DROP INTO THE 40S.

HIGHS ON SUNDAY ARE FORECAST TO BE IN THE 70S, EXCEPT FOR SOME
COOLER READINGS FOR COASTAL SECTIONS, MAINLY OUT EAST. SLIGHTLY
COOLER TEMPERATURES ARE IN STORE FOR MONDAY.

A PASSING SHOWER IS POSSIBLE ON MONDAY FOR WESTERN AREAS, BUT
BETTER CHANCES FOR RAIN FOR THE ENTIRE AREA WILL COME MONDAY
NIGHT INTO TUESDAY AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST.
