WITH HIGH PRESSURE IN PLACE AND RELATIVELY LIGHT WINDS, OVERNIGHT  
LOWS WILL FALL INTO THE MID 60S IN THE CITY AND INTO THE MID 50S  
ACROSS OUTLYING AREAS. SOME PATCHY FOG IS ALSO POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT,  
PARTICULARLY OUTSIDE OF THE CITY.  
 
HIGH PRESSURE WILL BEGIN TO SLIDE OFFSHORE ON THURSDAY AS A SLOW  
MOVING FRONTAL SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. CLOUDS WILL BEGIN  
TO INCREASE LATE, WITH SHOWERS DEVELOPING OVERNIGHT. SHOWERS AND  
THUNDERSTORMS BECOME MORE LIKELY ACROSS THE AREA ON FRIDAY BEFORE  
THE COLD FRONT FINALLY PUSHES EAST OF THE AREA ON SATURDAY.  
 
HIGH TEMPERATURES ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WILL BE NEAR TO A FEW  
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL, RANGING FROM THE UPPER 70S ALONG THE  
IMMEDIATE COASTLINE TO THE MID 80S IN THE NEW YORK CITY METRO
