FLOOD WATCH.  
 
THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AHEAD OF A STRONG COLD  
FRONT THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING. THE MAIN THREAT FROM  
THE POTENTIAL SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS OF 58 MPH  
OR GREATER. THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE QUICKLY FROM WEST  
TO EAST AT 40 TO 45 MPH. LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE  
WITH THE THUNDERSTORMS  
 
THE POTENTIAL FOR POST FRONTAL GUSTY WINDS CONTINUES LATE SATURDAY

OF EASTERN NEW YORK, AS WELL AS NORTHWESTERN CONNECTICUT AND WESTERN  
MASSACHUSETTS.  
   
DAY ONE

WIDESPREAD FLOODING IS CURRENTLY NOT ANTICIPATED, BUT THE POTENTIAL  
WILL CONTINUE TO BE MONITORED TODAY.
