...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND ISOLATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
TODAY...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST FLORIDA,
SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

PERIODIC PATCHY SHALLOW GROUND FOG IS POSSIBLE THROUGH SUNRISE
WHICH WILL REDUCE VISIBILITY BELOW 1 MILE AT TIMES.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING WITH AN INCREASE
IN THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE AND INTENSITY THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING ESPECIALLY ACROSS NORTHEAST FLORIDA NEAR A MEANDERING
FRONT. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL COULD CAUSE FLOODING, ESPECIALLY IN
POOR DRAINAGE AREAS AND WHERE RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL OCCURRED.

A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS TODAY COULD PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS UP
TO 60 MPH. EXCESSIVE LIGHTNING IS ALSO EXPECTED IN STRONGER STORMS.

STORM MOTION WILL BE INITIALLY TO THE EAST TO SOUTHEAST AROUND 10
MPH THIS MORNING, THEN INTO THE LATE AFTERNOON STORM MOTION WILL
BECOME MORE ERRATIC AND LIGHT, WHICH WILL PROMOTE LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL POTENTIAL.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE EACH DAY, WITH AN INCREASE IN COVERAGE
THIS WEEKEND IN ADVANCE OF A FRONT. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL, GUSTY
WINDS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE STRONGEST
THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

AN ELEVATED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS IS EXPECTED WEDNESDAY DUE TO
INCREASED ONSHORE FLOW.
