THE CENTER OF HURRICANE HONE IS LOCATED ABOUT 130 MILES WEST-  
SOUTHWEST OF KAILUA-KONA AND 170 MILES SOUTH OF HONOLULU AS OF 2PM  
HST, MOVING WEST-NORTHWEST AT 14 MPH. HONE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE  
TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST ON A HIGH-CONFIDENCE TRACK TO THE SOUTH OF  
THE ISLANDS FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE LEAVING THE LOCAL  
AREA BY TUESDAY.  
 
ALL TROPICAL STORM WATCHES AND WARNINGS HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED FOR  
LAND AREAS.  
 
FLASH FLOODING WILL CONTINUE TO BE A CONCERN THROUGH TONIGHT AS  
ADDITIONAL RAIN BANDS ASSOCIATED WITH HONE IMPACT THE ISLANDS,  
PRIMARILY FOR PORTIONS OF THE BIG ISLAND (HILO, PUNA, AND KAU  
DISTRICTS) AND WINDWARD MAUI. WIDESPREAD RAINFALL OF 10 TO 15 INCHES  
HAS ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS WINDWARD BIG ISLAND OVER THE PAST 24  
HOURS, WITH SOME LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS OF 18 INCHES OR MORE.  
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 2 TO 4 INCHES OVER PORTIONS OF THE BIG ISLAND  
AND 1 TO 2 INCHES OVER PORTIONS OF MAUI ARE EXPECTED THROUGH

STRONG TRADE WINDS WILL CONTINUE OVER AND DOWNWIND OF ISLAND TERRAIN  
THROUGH TONIGHT, THEN TAPER DOWN MONDAY INTO MID-WEEK. A HIGH WIND  
WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF MAUI COUNTY, WITH WIND
