SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS WERE MOVING EAST NORTHEAST ACROSS  
NORTHERN MINNESOTA EARLY THIS MORNING. ELSEWHERE, IT WAS CLEAR TO  
PARTLY CLOUDY. LOW TEMPERATURES SO FAR THIS MORNING RANGED FROM THE  
MID 50S IN NORTHERN WISCONSIN TO NEAR 70 IN NORTHWEST IOWA.  
 
PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY CONDITIONS FOR MUCH OF THE REGION TODAY, WITH  
SMALL RAIN CHANCES ACROSS PARTS OF MINNESOTA. BETTER SHOWER AND  
STORM CHANCES WILL COME LATER TONIGHT AND THEN ON FRIDAY. A FEW OF  
THE STORMS FRIDAY COULD BE STRONG.  
 
MEANWHILE, SUMMER HEAT BUILDS IN FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK AND  
THROUGH THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND. HIGHS TODAY WILL REACH THE MID TO UPPER  
80S, WITH 90 DEGREE HIGHS POSSIBLE FOR SOME LOCATIONS THIS WEEKEND.  
HEAT INDICES IN THE LOW 90S WILL BE COMMON. LOWS WILL HOLD IN THE
