OVERNIGHT. BY DAYBREAK OVER AN INCH OF RAIN HAD FALLEN NEAR  
AUGUSTA ILLINOIS. ELSEWHERE RAINFALL AMOUNTS RANGED FROM A TRACE  
TO A FEW TENTHS OF AN INCH. TEMPERATURES WERE UNSEASONABLY MILD,  
RANGING FROM 72 DEGREES AT BURLINGTON, FORT MADISON, MOUNT  
PLEASANT, IOWA CITY, MUSCATINE AND MOLINE, TO 66 DEGREES AT  
FREEPORT.  
 
MOISTURE WILL STREAM ACROSS THE REGION TODAY, TONIGHT AND  
THURSDAY AS A WEATHER SYSTEM MOVES FROM THE SOUTHERN PLAINS  
TOWARD THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE PERIODS  
OF BRIEF HEAVY RAIN, BUT OVERALL RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY  
RANGE FROM A TRACE TO A FEW TENTHS OF AN INCH. EXPECT TEMPERATURES  
TO REACH THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S TODAY, AND THE MID TO UPPER
