THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL  
ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST  
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST  
MISSOURI.  
   
DAY ONE
 
LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT  
 
TEMPERATURES DROPPING BELOW FREEZING AS RAIN LINGERS, WILL  
PRODUCE FREEZING RAIN ACROSS PORTIONS OF FAR NORTHEASTERN  
MISSOURI, SOUTHEASTERN IOWA AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS THIS EVENING  
AND INTO THE OVERNIGHT. ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO A TENTH OF AN  
INCH WILL OCCUR IN THESE AREAS, AND A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS  
BEEN ISSUED FOR THIS EVENING THROUGH 3 AM WEDNESDAY MORNING.  
SLEET MAY MIX IN WITH THE FREEZING RAIN AT TIMES WITH MINOR SLEET  
ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE. ACROSS THE REST OF THE AREA, DROPPING  
TEMPERATURES MAY FREEZE UP LINGERING WET SURFACES AND PUDDLES,  
MAKING FOR LOCALIZED SLICK SPOTS TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING.  
 
FLOODING ALONG MANY AREA RIVERS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP INTO  
TONIGHT AND INTENSIFY OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. PLEASE SEE THE  
LATEST RIVER FLOOD WARNINGS AND STATEMENTS FOR DETAILS.  
 
AN AREAL FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHWESTERN  
ILLINOIS AND INTO JACKSON COUNTY IN EASTERN IOWA TONIGHT THROUGH  
WEDNESDAY MORNING. MANY STREAMS AND CREEKS WERE REPORTED TO BE OUT  
OF THEIR BANKS IN THESE AREAS, AS WELL AS SEVERAL FLOODED ROADS.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY  
 
TWO SEPARATE STORM SYSTEMS WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA WEDNESDAY  
NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. THERE IS SOME UNCERTAINTY REGARDING  
THE TRACK OF EACH STORM WHICH WILL DETERMINE PRECIPITATION TYPE.  
 
THE FIRST STORM MAY PRODUCE LIGHT SNOW WEDNESDAY NIGHT THAT  
CHANGES TO RAIN ON THURSDAY.  
 
THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING THE SECOND STORM SYSTEM HAS  
THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE SNOW, SLEET, AND FREEZING RAIN.  
 
FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT TWO MORE STORM SYSTEMS WILL  
MOVE THROUGH THE AREA. THE TRACKS OF BOTH STORMS ARE UNCERTAIN BUT  
THE POTENTIAL IS THERE FOR RAIN CHANGING TO SNOW AT NIGHT.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED. HOWEVER, REPORTS OF RAINFALL  
AMOUNTS GREATER THAN ONE INCH, FREEZING RAIN, AND FLOODING WILL
