...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR  
SOUTHERN ISSAQUENA AND NORTHERN WARREN COUNTIES...AND MADISON PARISH...  
 
AT 413 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO  
INDICATE A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL  
OVER SOUTHWEST ISSAQUENA COUNTY AND NORTHERN MADISON PARISH. THESE  
STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH...AND WILL PRODUCE VERY  
HEAVY RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IN AN HOUR IN AREAS THAT HAVE  
ALREADY RECEIVED 5 TO 7 INCHES OF RAIN TODAY. THIS WILL LIKELY  
CAUSE FLASH FLOODING...SOME OF WHICH MAY BE SIGNIFICANT.  
 
LOCATIONS TO BE AFFECTED BY THESE STORMS INCLUDE VALLEY PARK...  
EAGLE BEND...OAK RIDGE AND REDWOOD  
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...  
 
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL  
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY  
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW  
LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.  
 
MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO  
AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS  
MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.
