A SMALL AND BRIEF TORNADO DEVELOPED FROM A MINI-LOW-  
TOPPED SUPERCELL THUNDERSTORM THAT DEVELOPED OVER THE CUMING-  
STANTON COUNTY LINE. THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ABOUT ONE-TENTH  
OF A MILE SOUTH OF OLD HIGHWAY 8, JUST INSIDE THE CUMING COUNTY  
LINE, PRODUCING CROP DAMAGE. THE TORNADO TRACKED NORTH, CROSSING  
OLD HIGHWAY 8, WHERE IT PRODUCED EF-1 DAMAGE TO A HOME AND FARM  
OUT-BUILDINGS ABOUT ONE-TENTH OF A MILE NORTH OF OLD HIGHWAY 8.  
THE TORNADO CONTINUED TO TRACK NORTH- NORTHEAST SLIGHT MORE THAN  
ONE-TENTH OF A MILE, THEN LIFTED.  
 
EF SCALE: THE ENHANCED FUJITA SCALE CLASSIFIES TORNADOES INTO THE  
FOLLOWING CATEGORIES.

EF1...WEAK......86 TO 110 MPH
