THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL  
NEW MEXICO, SOUTHWEST NEW MEXICO, AND SOUTHWEST TEXAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT  
 
IT WILL CONTINUE TO BE VERY HOT WITH AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES  
EXPECTED TO REACH BETWEEN 101 AND 105 ACROSS THE DESERT LOWLANDS.  
THE EL PASO METRO AREA WILL BE THE WARMEST WITH HEAT ADVISORY  
LEVEL TEMPERATURES EXPECTED. MOUNTAIN AREAS WILL BE COOLER, BUT  
WILL STILL BE VERY WARM. IF YOU HAVE TO BE OUTSIDE FOR ANY LENGTH  
OF TIME, BE SURE TO TAKE HOT WEATHER PRECAUTIONS AND DRINK PLENTY  
OF FLUIDS.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY  
 
HOT TEMPERATURES WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH THE NEXT WEEK  
WITH EACH DAY EXPECTED TO BE OVER 100 DEGREES IN THE DESERT  
LOWLANDS. TEMPERATURES WILL BE WARMEST ON FRIDAY WITH THE WARMEST  
AREAS EXPECTED ALONG THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER. TEMPERATURES IN  
THE EL PASO METRO AREA WILL APPROACH HEAT ADVISORY LEVELS FOR  
FRIDAY. 100 DEGREE PLUS DAYS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH NEXT WEEK BUT  
MAY BE A FEW DEGREES COOLER.  
 
CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN DRY ACROSS THE AREA WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF  
THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE SACRAMENTO MOUNTAINS FOR THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
