HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE MID SOUTH TODAY WILL KEEP DRY CONDITIONS IN  
PLACE ALONG WITH TEMPERATURES REMAINING IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER  
80S. SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL ALLOW FOR A RETURN IN HUMIDITY LEVELS BY  
THURSDAY. IN ADDITION, DEEPER MOISTURE WILL SURGE NORTH INTO THE  
REGION WITH INCREASED CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS,  
ESPECIALLY ACROSS AREAS SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40.  
 
UNSETTLED WEATHER CAN BE EXPECTED FOR FRIDAY INTO THE WEEKEND AS A  
FRONT APPROACHES AND STALLS OUT ACROSS THE REGION. THIS FRONT WILL  
INTERACT WITH INCREASED MOISTURE LEVELS TO SUPPORT HIGHER COVERAGE  
OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN SLIGHTLY  
BELOW NORMAL WITH HIGHS MAINLY IN THE UPPER 80S WITH LOWS IN THE  
70S.  
 
CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE INTO EARLY  
NEXT WEEK AS A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES MOVE ACROSS THE  
REGION. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL FOR THIS
