LATE THIS AFTERNOON, MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES PREVAILED ACROSS WEST TEXAS  
AND THE HILL COUNTRY. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE  
IMPACTING PARTS OF EAST TEXAS. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE 50S IN THE  
PANHANDLE AND IN THE 70S AND 80S ACROSS THE REST OF THE STATE. WINDS  
WERE BREEZY ACROSS THE STATE, WITH GUSTS TO NEAR 40MPH IN WEST TEXAS.  
 
AND NOW THE FORECAST SUMMARY FOR WEST CENTRAL TEXAS. WARM AND DRY  
CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND. LOOK FOR HIGHS ON  
SATURDAY IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S, WITH LOWS DROPPING INTO THE MID  
50S. EVEN WARMER CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED ON SUNDAY, WITH HIGHS  
RISING INTO THE MID TO UPPER 80S ACROSS THE REGION.
