LATE THIS AFTERNOON, A COLD FRONT WAS MOVING SOUTH ACROSS THE STATE.  
AHEAD AND ALONG THE FRONT, SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS STRETCHED FROM  
THE BIG BEND AREA TO MASON. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS  
WERE LOCATED ALONG THE GULF COAST. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE 90S  
ACROSS MUCH OF THE STATE. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE 80S ACROSS THE  
PANHANDLE AND FAR WESTERN TEXAS.  
 
AND NOW FORECAST SUMMARY FOR WEST CENTRAL TEXAS. SCATTERED SHOWERS  
AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TODAY ACROSS WEST  
CENTRAL TEXAS, MAINLY IN AND AROUND THE I 10 CORRIDOR. HOT AND DRY  
CONDITIONS WILL RETURN FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK, WITH AFTERNOON  
HIGHS CLIMBING TO NEAR THE 100 DEGREE MARK.
