OUTLOOK (DAYS 3-5)

THERE IS A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ON SUNDAY AS A
FRONTAL BOUNDARY MOVES INTO SOUTH TEXAS AND STALLS. A WEAK EAST TO
NORTHEAST FLOW WILL DEVELOP SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY WITH THE FRONTAL
BOUNDARY. THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL WEAKEN AND DISSIPATE ON MONDAY
AND...WITH DRIER AIR MOVING INTO THE AREA FROM THE NORTH... RAIN
CHANCES WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH EARLY NEXT WEEK. EXPECT HIGHS IN THE
80S AND LOWS IN THE 70S.

* A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS MEANS WIND AND/OR WAVE CONDITIONS
SUPPORT STRONGER AND/OR MORE FREQUENT RIP CURRENTS. ONLY
EXPERIENCED SURF SWIMMERS SHOULD ENTER THE WATER. RESEARCH HAS
SHOWN RIP CURRENTS ARE TYPICALLY MORE FREQUENT AND STRONGER IN
THE VICINITY OF JETTIES...INLETS...AND PIERS.

* WAVE HEIGHT AND PERIOD FORECASTS ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF DEEP OCEAN
WAVES OVER THE OFFSHORE WATERS...NOT SURF CONDITIONS.
