...AREAS OF FOG REDUCING VISIBILITIES ACROSS THE NEARSHORE GULF
WATERS OF DEEP SOUTH TEXAS...

SATELLITE OBSERVATIONS AND LOCAL CAMERA NETWORKS INDICATE THAT
AREAS OF FOG REMAIN OVER THE GULF WATERS OUT 20 NAUTICAL MILES AND
THE LAGUNA MADRE NORTH OF PORT MANSFIELD. VISIBILITIES ARE
SOMEWHAT DIFFICULT TO ASCERTAIN, BUT EXPECT VALUES AROUND 1 TO 3
NAUTICAL MILES. ADDITIONAL MARINE FOG DEVELOPMENT IS LIKELY
OVERNIGHT. SOME FOG MAY BE DENSE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS
EVENING THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY. A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MAY BE NEEDED
SHORTLY.

MARINERS ARE URGED TO REDUCE SPEED AND MAINTAIN A LOOKOUT FOR
OTHER VESSELS, BUOYS, AND BREAKWATERS. IN ADDITION, KEEP YOUR
NAVIGATION LIGHTS ON. CONSIDER RETURNING TO OR REMAINING IN PORT,
ESPECIALLY IF YOUR VESSEL IS NOT EQUIPPED TO HANDLE THE REDUCED
VISIBILITY.
