WEATHER SUMMARY FOR THE MIDSOUTH
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN
333 AM CDT MON JUL 15 2019

TROPICAL DEPRESSION BARRY WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE WEATHER
ACROSS THE MID-SOUTH THROUGH WEDNESDAY. HEAVIER RAINBANDS WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE INTO THE AREA AS THE CENTER OF THE STORM MOVES
NORTHWARD. THE SYSTEM WILL BE SLOW MOVING. AS A RESULT, RAIN WILL
BE HEAVY AT TIMES WHICH MAY CAUSE FLASH FLOODING. SOME STORMS
COULD ALSO BE SEVERE THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING AS THE REMNANTS OF
THE TROPICAL SYSTEM MOVE INTO THE REGION. TEMPERATURES WILL BE
COOLER DUE TO THE RAIN AND CLOUDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SYSTEM.

AN UPPER RIDGE WILL THEN BUILD OVER THE REGION ON THURSDAY. WITH
THE RECENT RAINFALL FROM BARRY, CONDITIONS WILL BE VERY HUMID.
THE COMBINATION OF HOT TEMPERATURES AND THE HUMIDITY WILL PRODUCE
HEAT INDICES OVER 105 DEGREES ON THURSDAY THROUGH NEXT WEEKEND.
