THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

DAY ONE

THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SATURDAY AFTERNOON, SHOWERS WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD OVER
CENTRAL ARKANSAS, WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE OVER CENTRAL
AND NORTHERN ARKANSAS. SOME SMALL HAIL, STRONG WINDS, AND HEAVY
RAINFALL MAY ACCOMPANY THESE THUNDERSTORMS.

FOG, LOCALLY DENSE, WILL BE POSSIBLE AS A WARM FRONT MOVES
NORTHWARD THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING AFFECTING ALL OF THE
STATE BY SUNDAY MORNING. MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION ON ROADWAYS
AS VISIBILITY COULD DROP BELOW 1/2 MILE.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN

SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

RAIN CHANCES WILL CONTINUE INTO NEXT WEEK, AS SEVERAL SYSTEMS BRING
PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS TO THE STATE.

AT THIS TIME, THE THREAT OF STRONG STORMS IS LOW. HOWEVER, THERE
WILL BE AN INCREASED THREAT FOR HEAVY RAINFALL, WITH SEVERAL
ADDITIONAL INCHES OF RAIN POSSIBLE IN ABOUT THE SOUTHEAST HALF OF
ARKANSAS. THIS, ALONG WITH ALREADY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER THE LAST
COUPLE OF DAYS, AND HIGH SOIL MOISTURE CONTENT DUE TO SNOW MELT FROM
RECORD SNOWFALL THIS MONTH WILL INCREASE THE THREAT OF FLASH
FLOODING, AND COULD KEEP STAGES ON AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS ELEVATED.

CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS AND STATEMENTS FROM YOUR
ARKANSAS NWS OFFICES.
