THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TODAY AND TONIGHT  
 
A MIX OF RAIN, FREEZING RAIN, SLEET, AND SNOW ARE EXPECTED TODAY  
AND TONIGHT ACROSS THE NORTHWESTERN ONE HALF OF ARKANSAS. PERIODS  
OF LIGHT, TO AT TIMES MODERATE, SLEET AND SNOW MAY QUICKLY LEAD  
TO HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS THIS MORNING ACROSS WESTERN  
ARKANSAS. ADDITIONAL SLEET AND SNOW AMOUNTS AROUND HALF AN INCH TO  
AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE, WITH ADDITIONAL ICE ACCUMULATION REMAINING  
BELOW A TENTH OF AN INCH, ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF  
THE OZARKS, OUACHITAS, AND NORTH- CENTRAL ARKANSAS TODAY.  
TONIGHT, PRECIPITATION WILL MOSTLY TRANSITION OVER TO A COLD RAIN,  
EXCEPT FOR THE HIGHEST OF TERRAIN OF THE BOSTON MOUNTAINS WHERE  
FREEZING RAIN MAY CONTINUE. SLICK CONDITIONS COULD MAKE TRAVELING  
HAZARDOUS IN THIS REGION OF THE OZARKS OVERNIGHT.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY  
 
FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THURSDAY MORNING IN THE  
OZARKS. TEMPERATURES WILL WARM THROUGH THE MORNING AND CHANGE IT TO  
JUST RAIN. TRAVEL ISSUES MAY CONTINUE IN THE MORNING HOURS. SNOW AND  
SLEET WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE NEAR THE MISSOURI BORDER THURSDAY NIGHT  
INTO FRIDAY MORNING.
