THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TODAY AND TONIGHT  
 
DAMGEROUS HEAT WILL BE NOTED TODAY, WITH TEMPERATURES TOPPING OUT  
IN THE MID 90S TO AROUND 100 DEGREES THIS AFTERNOON. HEAT INDEX  
VALUES WILL PEAK FROM 100 TO 110 DEGREES AT MOST LOCATIONS.  
 
PEOPLE WITH OUTDOOR PLANS TODAY ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO TAKE  
THE HEAT SERIOUSLY, AND FIND WAYS TO KEEP COOL. GO TO SHADED AREAS  
WHEN POSSIBLE, STAY WELL HYDRATED, AND HAVE AN AIR CONDITIONED  
ENVIRONMENT NEARBY.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY  
 
OPPRESSIVE CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH AT LEAST FRIDAY OR  
SATURDAY. HEAT ADVISORIES WILL LIKELY BE ISSUED THE NEXT SEVERAL  
DAYS GIVEN MAXIMUM AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES FROM 100 TO 115 DEGREES  
ACROSS MUCH OF ARKANSAS. ANY RAIN WILL BE SPOTTY.  
 
THERE WILL BE LITTLE RELIEF AT NIGHT, WITH LOW TEMPERATURES IN  
THE 70S TO AROUND 80 DEGREES.  
 
IT APPEARS THERE COULD BE A SMALL BREAK FROM THE HEAT THIS WEEKEND  
INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. A COLD FRONT WILL TRY TO MOVE INTO THE STATE  
FROM THE NORTH. THE FRONT IS EXPECTED TO TRIGGER ISOLATED TO  
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS, FOLLOWED BY SLIGHTLY COOLER  
AIR.
