RADIO AT 10 AM TODAY AS PART OF FLORIDA SEVERE WEATHER AWARENESS  
WEEK...  
 
AT 10 AM TODAY, A TORNADO DRILL TEST MESSAGE WILL BE SENT OUT TO  
ALL NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTERS IN SOUTH FLORIDA. THE TEST  
MESSAGE WILL TRIGGER NOAA WEATHER RADIO ALERT TONES USING THE SAME  
ROUTINE WEEKLY TEST CODE SENT EVERY WEDNESDAY. THIS DRILL WILL  
NOT USE LIVE TORNADO WARNING ALERT CODES.  
 
THOSE WITH NOAA WEATHER RADIO RECEIVERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE  
IN TODAY'S TORNADO DRILL BY ENSURING THAT THEIR RADIO RECEIVERS  
ARE IN "ALERT" MODE BY 10 AM.  
 
THIS WEEK'S ROUTINE WEEKLY TEST NORMALLY CONDUCTED ON WEDNESDAYS  
AT 11 AM WILL BE REPLACED BY THE TORNADO DRILL TEST MESSAGE AT 10  
AM TODAY.
