MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.  
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...  
 
MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES OR DRIVE  
CARS THROUGH FLOODED AREAS.

THE ST. MARKS RIVER NEAR NEWPORT ON OLD MAGNOLIA RD.  
* UNTIL WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.  
* AT 10:00 AM EDT SATURDAY THE STAGE WAS 8.2 FEET.  
* FLOOD STAGE IS 8.0 FEET.  
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.  
* RECENT ACTIVITY...THE MAXIMUM RIVER STAGE IN THE 24 HOURS ENDING  
AT 10:00 AM EDT SATURDAY WAS 8.2 FEET.  
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE TO A CREST OF 8.3 FEET  
THIS EVENING. IT WILL THEN FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE EARLY WEDNESDAY  
MORNING.  
* IMPACT...AT 8.5 FEET, WATER APPROACHES THE STEPS TO AN ELEVATED  
RESIDENCE ON OLD MAGNOLIA ROAD IN WAKULLA COUNTY. OTHER ELEVATED  
STRUCTURES BEGIN TO BE SURROUNDED BY WATER. PORTIONS OF THE  
NATURAL BRIDGE STATE PARK NEAR THE RIVER BEGIN TO FLOOD IN LEON
