SITUATION OVERVIEW

TROPICAL STORM ISAIAS WAS 80 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF JACKSONVILLE,  
FL THIS MORNING, AND THE TROPICAL STORM WILL MOVE TOWARDS THE  
CAROLINAS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. A FEW BANDS OF SHOWERS WILL  
IMPACT THE COASTLINE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON, BUT WINDS WILL REMAIN  
BELOW TROPICAL STORM FORCE. THUS, THE TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS WERE  
CANCELLED FOR ALL LAND AREAS.  
 
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL UP TO 1 INCH IS POSSIBLE. SIGNIFICANT BEACH  
EROSION IS POSSIBLE FOR SOME OF THE AREA BEACHES. LIFE-THREATENING  
RIP CURRENTS AND BUILDING ROUGH SEAS ARE EXPECTED TODAY AND SWIMMING  
IS STRONGLY DISCOURAGED AT AREA BEACHES.  
 
OVER THE COASTAL WATERS, DANGEROUS MARINE CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE  
THROUGH THIS EVENING.
