THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST  
IOWA...WEST CENTRAL IOWA...EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST  
NEBRASKA AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TODAY AND TONIGHT  
 
A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT THIS MORNING. LIGHT SNOW  
WILL CONTINUE TO FALL ACROSS THE REGION BEFORE TAPERING OFF FROM  
SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST LATER THIS MORNING. SOME PATCHY FREEZING  
DRIZZLE IS POSSIBLE AS WELL THIS MORNING WHICH COULD PUT A LIGHT  
GLAZE ON SURFACES. SNOW WILL PRODUCE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY  
 
A SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM IS POSSIBLE BETWEEN FRIDAY AND SUNDAY  
MORNING. THIS SYSTEM SHOULD BRING ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS,  
POSSIBLY HEAVY, AND MAY BE ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG WINDS, LEADING  
TO BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL FOR BLIZZARD  
CONDITIONS WITH THIS SYSTEM. AT THIS TIME, SATURDAY AFTERNOON  
INTO SATURDAY NIGHT IS THE PERIOD OF GREATEST CONCERN. ANYONE WITH  
WEEKEND PLANS SHOULD MONITOR THIS SYSTEM CLOSELY.  
 
ADDITIONAL ROUNDS OF SNOW ARE POSSIBLE EARLY NEXT WEEK, AS THE  
ACTIVE AND COLD WEATHER PATTERN LINGERS.
