THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI  
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.  
 
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...  
 
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.  
LIMITED FLOODING RISK.  
ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.  
LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.  
 
DISCUSSION...  
 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA  
TODAY AND TONIGHT, ESPECIALLY OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS INTO WEST  
CENTRAL MISSOURI. HEAVY RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE AS TROPICAL  
MOISTURE IS IN PLACE OVER THE REGION. IF ENOUGH INSTABILITY CAN  
DEVELOP, THEN WIND GUSTS OF 50 TO 60 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH  
THE STRONGER STORMS TONIGHT.  
 
NON THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS OVER 30 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER  
WESTERN PARTS OF MISSOURI INTO SOUTHEAST KANSAS THROUGH THE  
AFTERNOON.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.  
 
SEVERAL ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN  
WILL BE POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT. SOME FLOODING WILL  
BE POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS INTO WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI  
WHERE TWO TO OVER 3 INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE.  
 
CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY THEN RETURN BY THE  
MIDDLE OF NEXT WORK WEEK.
