CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST  
MISSOURI.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TODAY AND TONIGHT  
 
WINTER STORM WARNINGS AND WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES REMAIN IN EFFECT  
THIS MORNING.  
 
SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING MAINLY NEAR TO NORTH OF INTERSTATE  
80 BEFORE DIMINISHING THIS AFTERNOON. ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS  
OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE LIKELY. NORTHEAST WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO  
GUST BETWEEN 20 MPH TO 30 MPH AT TIMES CREATING BLOWING AND  
DRIFTING SNOW IN OPEN AREAS. FURTHER SOUTH, AREAS OF FREEZING  
DRIZZLE ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS FAR SOUTHEAST IOWA, NORTHEAST MISSOURI  
AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY  
 
A FAST MOVING STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING A ROUND OF LIGHT SNOW TO THE  
AREA WEDNESDAY MORNING EXITING IN THE AFTERNOON. CURRENTLY, AROUND  
AND INCH OR LESS OF SNOW IS ANTICIPATED ACROSS PORTIONS OF  
SOUTHEAST IOWA, NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.  
 
A STORM SYSTEM MAY BRING A WINTRY MIX OF RAIN, FREEZING RAIN AND  
SNOW TO THE REGION THIS WEEKEND.
