THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI  
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TODAY AND TONIGHT.  
 
WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...  
 
SIGNIFICANT FOG RISK.  
 
DISCUSSION...  
 
AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS  
AND SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI THIS MORNING. VISIBILITIES CAN BE  
EXPECTED TO ONE QUARTER OF A MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.  
 
GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL OCCUR AT TIMES FROM WEDNESDAY  
THROUGH FRIDAY AHEAD OF A DEVELOPING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE  
ACROSS THE PLAINS. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL OCCUR ON WEDNESDAY  
WHEN GUSTS OVER 30 MPH WILL OCCUR AT TIMES. A DRY AIR MASS WILL  
BE IN PLACE AND WHEN COMBINED WITH THE GUSTY WINDS COULD LEAD  
TO AN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS ON  
WEDNESDAY.  
 
A FEW ISOLATED STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THURSDAY AND THURSDAY  
NIGHT. BETTER CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL THEN OCCUR FRIDAY  
INTO SATURDAY MORNING AS THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS THROUGH  
THE REGION.
