AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HEAT INDEX VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO  
RANGE FROM 105 TO 115 DEGREES TODAY.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.  
 
AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HEAT INDEX VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO  
RANGE FROM 100 TO 110 DEGREES INTO FRIDAY OR SATURDAY. THE  
EXTENDED NATURE OF THIS HEAT WAVE WILL INCREASE THE RISK FOR HEAT  
RELATED ILLNESSES. COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL FILTER INTO THE AREA  
STARTING ON SUNDAY.  
 
CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE FROM FRIDAY INTO EARLY  
NEXT WEEK AS A COLD FRONT SLOWLY SLIDES SOUTH THROUGH THE AREA.
