PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...  
 
TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD  
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR  
THE CONECUH RIVER AT RIVER FALLS.  
* UNTIL LATE MONDAY NIGHT.  
* AT 8:45 PM CDT THURSDAY THE STAGE WAS 37.0 FEET.  
* FLOOD STAGE IS 37.0 FEET.  
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.  
* RECENT ACTIVITY...THE MAXIMUM RIVER STAGE IN THE 24 HOURS ENDING  
AT 8:45 PM CDT THURSDAY WAS 38.1 FEET.  
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE TO A CREST OF 41.3 FEET  
BY FRIDAY EVENING. IT WILL THEN BEGIN TO FALL, FALLING BELOW FLOOD  
STAGE BY MONDAY EVENING.  
* IMPACT...AT 40.0 FEET, CONSIDERABLE FLOODING OF FARMLANDS AND SOME  
RURAL ROADS IN THE AREA WILL OCCUR. AT 43.0 FEET, PORTIONS OF U.S.  
HIGHWAY 84 WILL FLOOD. SOME RESIDENTIAL FLOODING WILL ALSO OCCUR  
ALONG THE RIVER.
