THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND  
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TODAY AND TONIGHT.  
 
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER THROUGH SUNRISE THIS MORNING.  
SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED WITH THIS ACTIVITY.  
 
HEAT INDEX VALUES OF 105 TO 110 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS MOST  
OF THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON.  
 
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP LATE THIS  
AFTERNOON AND LAST OFF AND ON THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT. SOME OF THESE  
STORMS MAY BE SEVERE WITH HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND WIND  
GUSTS UP TO 70 MPH. THE ENTIRE AREA HAS AT LEAST SOME THREAT FOR  
SEVERE WEATHER, BUT THE HIGHEST THREAT IS FOR AREAS NEAR AND NORTH  
OF INTERSTATE 80. THE MAIN TIMEFRAME FOR THIS IS 5PM TO MIDNIGHT.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.  
 
PORTIONS OF NORTH-CENTRAL KANSAS MAY SEE HEAT INDICES REACH 105  
TO 110 DEGREES AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY.  
 
STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE BOTH WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.  
 
HEAT INDEX VALUES MAY EXCEED 100 DEGREES AGAIN ON SUNDAY  
AFTERNOON.  
 
CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS ALSO RETURN TO THE AREA SUNDAY AND  
MONDAY.
