THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND  
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TODAY AND TONIGHT.  
 
A DENSE FOG ADVISORY WILL NOW REMAIN IN EFFECT THROUGH 11AM THIS  
MORNING FOR COUNTIES NEAR AND NORTH OF HWY-30. THOUGH THE LAYER  
OF DENSE FOG IS RELATIVELY SHALLOW, SURFACE VISIBILITIES MAY STILL  
BE SLOW TO CLEAR THIS MORNING. MOTORISTS ACROSS THIS AREA SHOULD  
ALLOW FOR EXTRA TIME TO REACH THEIR DESTINATION THIS MORNING.  
 
HEAT INDEX VALUES OF 100 TO 105 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS NORTH  
CENTRAL KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON.  
 
AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MAINLY  
NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS THIS EVENING. SEVERE WEATHER DOES NOT APPEAR  
LIKELY, ALTHOUGH A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WITH SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY  
WINDS CANNOT BE RULED OUT.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.  
 
HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL PEAK ACROSS THE AREA TUESDAY AFTERNOON,  
WITH THE HIGHEST VALUES OF 100 TO NEAR 105 DEGREES EXPECTED  
ACROSS OUR KANSAS COUNTIES. HEAT INDEX VALUES NEAR 100 DEGREES  
ARE ALSO EXPECTED ACROSS MAINLY NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS MONDAY AND  
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS.  
 
A FEW STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE STORMS COULD RETURN TO AREAS  
MAINLY NORTH OF I-80 BOTH MONDAY AND TUESDAY AFTERNOONS.  
WIDESPREAD COVERAGE IS NOT EXPECTED. BETTER THUNDERSTORM CHANCES  
RETURN TO THE LOCAL AREA WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY.
