THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND  
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TODAY AND TONIGHT.  
 
AN ISOLATED OR SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM COULD IMPACT PARTS OF THE  
AREA TODAY, WITH THE FOCUS OF MOST THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY EXPECTED  
TO BE PRIMARILY NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80. THERE IS A VERY SMALL  
CHANCE FOR A STRONG STORM ACROSS OUR EXTREME NORTH, PRIMARILY  
NORTH OF HIGHWAY 92, LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR EVENING. IF A STRONG  
STORM DOES DEVELOP, SMALL HAIL AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH WILL BE  
THE MAIN HAZARDS.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.  
 
PERIODIC CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS EXIST ACROSS AT LEAST PORTIONS  
OF THE LOCAL AREA FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, THEN AGAIN MONDAY NIGHT  
THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT. WIDESPREAD SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT  
ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME, ALTHOUGH A STRONG STORM NORTH OF HIGHWAY  
92 WILL BE POSSIBLE FRIDAY NIGHT.  
 
TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB BACK WELL ABOVE NORMAL EARLY NEXT WEEK,  
WITH WIDESPREAD HEAT INDEX VALUES OVER 100 DEGREES CURRENTLY IN  
THE FORECAST FOR BOTH MONDAY AND TUESDAY AFTERNOONS.
