SCATTERED LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS WERE MOVING NORTH OUT OF OLD MEXICO  
ACROSS EL PASO AND OTERO COUNTIES. THESE LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS WERE  
PRODUCING SOME STRONG SURFACE WINDS AS SOME OF THE RAIN EVAPORATES  
IN THE DRY LAYER NEAR THE SURFACE. WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH WILL  
BE POSSIBLE FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS AS THE LIGHT SHOWERS SLOWLY  
MOVE OFF TO THE NORTHEAST.
