RAIN SHOWERS COME TO AN END THIS MORNING FROM WEST TO EAST AS DRY  
AIR MOVES IN BEHIND A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE OF THE DEEPENING LOW.  
WESTERLY WINDS INCREASE TODAY BECOMING SUSTAINED AT 20 TO 30 MPH  
WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH. THESE GUSTY WINDS WILL PERSIST THROUGH  
MUCH OF THE DAY THURSDAY AND INTO FRIDAY MORNING.  
 
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO DROP THROUGH THE DAY AS COLD AIR IS  
PUSHED INTO THE AREA. BY THE AFTERNOON, TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE  
UPPER 30S AND LOW 40S. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT DROP INTO THE 20S  
FOR MOST OF THE AREA WITH MORE INTERIOR LOCATIONS DROPPING INTO  
THE TEENS. GUSTY WINDS WILL ALLOW FOR WIND CHILLS TO DROP INTO  
THE LOW TEENS AND SINGLE DIGITS.  
 
DRY CONDITIONS PERSIST FOR FRIDAY WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE  
UPPER 30S AND LOW 40S. TEMPERATURES REMAIN JUST BELOW AVERAGE  
THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEKEND.
