* FROM THIS AFTERNOON UNTIL LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT.  
* AT 10 AM TUESDAY THE STAGE WAS 16.1 FEET.  
* FLOOD STAGE IS 18.0 FEET.  
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.  
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY NOON TODAY  
AND CREST NEAR 19.9 FEET AROUND 2 AM WEDNESDAY. THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW  
FLOOD STAGE AFTER 3 PM WEDNESDAY.  
* IMPACT...AT 18.0 FEET...FLOOD STAGE. THE RIVER OVERFLOWS BANKS AND LOWLAND  
FLOODING BEGINS WITHIN THE FLOOD PLAIN.

* AT 10 AM TUESDAY THE STAGE WAS 10.5 FEET.  
* FLOOD STAGE IS 13.0 FEET.  
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.  
* FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY 5 PM TUESDAY AND  
CREST NEAR 13.4 FEET AROUND 8 PM TUESDAY. THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD  
STAGE AFTER 11 AM WEDNESDAY.  
* IMPACT...AT 12.0 FEET...OUT OF BANK FLOWS INCREASE IN THE FLOOD PLAIN NEAR THE  
TOWNS OF BARTON AND NICHOLS, NY AND THE TOWNSHIP OF ATHENS, PA. THE CANNON  
HOLE NEIGHBORHOOD IS AFFECTED BY FLOODING. MONITORING OF LEVEE GATES AND PUMPS  
OCCURS IN SAYRE.
