..SNOW SQUALLS WILL IMPACT WESTERN NEW YORK OVERNIGHT  
 
SNOW IS STARTING ACROSS WESTERN NEW YORK, AND THE SNOW COMBINED WITH  
STRONG WINDS GUSTING TO 60 MPH WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF BLOWING AND  
DRIFTING SNOW WHICH WILL LOWER VISIBILITY BELOW A HALF MILE AT TIMES.  
THE SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY DIFFICULT OVERNIGHT,  
ESPECIALLY IN OPEN AREAS WHERE SNOW WILL TEND TO DRIFT MORE.  
 
LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...  
BUFFALO, ROCHESTER, GREECE, CHEEKTOWAGA, IRONDEQUOIT, NIAGARA FALLS,  
WEST SENECA, NORTH TONAWANDA, CLARENCE, CHILI, LOCKPORT, LACKAWANNA,  
BATAVIA, KENMORE, DEPEW, AMHERST, TONAWANDA, LANCASTER, HAMBURG, AND  
BROCKPORT.  
 
THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...  
INTERSTATE 390 BETWEEN EXITS 5 AND 12.  
INTERSTATE 90 BETWEEN EXITS 46 AND 57A.  
 
CONDITIONS CAN DETERIORATE RAPIDLY IN WINTER WEATHER SITUATIONS.  
AVOID UNNECESSARY TRAVEL. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL, BE PREPARED FOR POOR  
VISIBILITY AND SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME WHEN TRAVELING.
