WINDS NEAR LIVINGSTON HAVE OVERPERFORMED THROUGHOUT THE LATE  
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. RAISED WINDS THROUGH 18Z TOMORROW TO  
REFLECT CURRENT AND EXPECTED WINDS. TONIGHT WILL BE COOL WITH  
PASSING MID TO HIGH LEVEL CLOUD. TEMPERATURES ARE CURRENTLY IN THE  
20S FOR MOST LOCATIONS AND ARE EXPECTED TO FALL INTO THE TEENS  
FOR MANY LOCATIONS. LOCATIONS IN FALLON COUNTY NEAR THE DAKOTAS  
BORDER HAVE A >50% CHANCE OF GETTING A TEMPERATURE IN THE SINGLE

REST OF TODAY THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT...  
 
THE BREEZY WEST TO NORTHWESTERLY WINDS IN FAR EASTERN MONTANA  
TODAY WILL COME TO AN END THIS EVENING. ONCE THIS HAPPENS,  
GENERALLY LIGHT WINDS WILL PREVAIL OVER THE PLAINS. OUTSIDE OF THE  
PLAINS, BREEZY SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS LOOK TO CONTINUE OVER THE  
BEARTOOTH/ABSAROKA MOUNTAINS THROUGH THURSDAY.  
 
WHILE MUCH OF THE REGION WILL REMAIN DRY, PERIODS OF ISOLATED TO  
SCATTERED RAIN/SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND  
FOOTHILLS OF SOUTH-CENTRAL MONTANA THIS EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY  
NIGHT (15-50 PERCENT CHANCE). WITH THIS, ANY PRECIPITATION THAT  
OCCURS WILL BE ALL SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS AND A RAIN/SNOW MIX OVER  
THE LOWER ELEVATIONS OF THE FOOTHILLS/VALLEYS. PRECIPITATION  
AMOUNTS WILL REMAIN LIGHT WITH THIS ACTIVITY.  
 
FOR TEMPERATURES, LOOK FOR LOWS TO DROP INTO THE UPPER TEENS TO  
LOWER 30S ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION TONIGHT. IN FAR EASTERN  
MONTANA, TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE A BIT COLDER WITH LOWS IN  
THE UPPER SINGLE DIGITS TO MID-TEENS. THURSDAY WILL SEE HIGHS IN  
THE THE 40S TO LOWER 50S WITH LOWS IN THE UPPER TEENS TO MID 30S

UPPER RIDGING ON FRIDAY GIVES WAY TO SW FLOW ON SATURDAY. ENERGY  
MOVING INTO THE RIDGE ON FRI. WILL BRING A CHANCE OF RAIN AND SNOW  
TO AREAS N AND W OF KBIL. BEST CHANCES (60%) WERE OVER JUDITH GAP  
IN THE MORNING. HIGHS WILL BE IN THE UPPER 30S AND 40S. RAIN AND  
SNOW CHANCES INCREASE FROM W TO E DURING SAT. AS A COLD FRONT  
PUSHES INTO THE NW ZONES. FRONT MOVES SE THROUGH THE FORECAST AREA  
SAT. NIGHT BRINGING A MODERATE TO HIGH CHANCE OF RAIN AND SNOW IN  
THE EVENING TO MOST OF THE AREA. RAIN AND SNOW CHANGES OVER TO ALL  
SNOW BEHIND THE FRONT LATE SAT. NIGHT. UPPER TROUGH WILL PUSH E  
ALONG THE CANADIAN BORDER SAT. NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY. THERE WILL BE  
LOW TO MODERATE CHANCES OF SNOW SUN. MORNING, THEN LINGERING  
CHANCES S OF KBIL IN THE AFTERNOON. THE PROBABILITY OF AT LEAST 2  
INCHES OF SNOW THROUGH LATE SUNDAY HAS DROPPED TO 14% AT KBIL.  
TEMPS ON SAT. WILL BE IN THE 40S TO LOWER 50S. IT WILL BE MUCH  
COOLER ON SUNDAY WITH HIGHS IN THE 20S AND 30S. THE CHANCES OF
