LOW CLOUDS CONTINUED TO LINGER ACROSS EASTERN IOWA OVERNIGHT ALONG  
WITH SOME PATCHY FOG. FARTHER WEST, HIGHS CLOUDS PUSHED ACROSS THE  
REMAINDER OF THE STATE AS HIGH LEVEL MOISTURE STREAMED OVERHEAD. WINDS  
WERE GENERALLY LIGHT AND VARIABLE OVER THE STATE AS HIGH PRESSURE  
MOVED ACROSS IOWA. TEMPERATURES EARLY THIS MORNING RANGED FROM THE MID  
20S TO LOW 30S ACROSS THE STATE.  
 
THERE WILL BE A MIX OF CLOUDS AND SUNSHINE TODAY OVER MUCH OF THE  
STATE AS WINDS GRADUALLY BECOME SOUTHERLY AND INCREASE. TEMPERATURES  
ARE EXPECTED TO BE MOSTLY IN THE 40S FOR HIGHS WITH LITTLE CHANCE OF  
PRECIPITATION.  
 
TONIGHT AND BEYOND:  
 
SUNDAY IS FORECAST TO BE A BIT WARMER THAN TODAY WITH HIGHS REACHING  
INTO THE MID 40S TO MID 50S ACROSS THE STATE AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING  
COLD FRONT. THIS FRONT IS FORECAST TO SWEEP THROUGH THE STATE SUNDAY  
EVENING WITH COLDER AIR SPREADING INTO IOWA. HIGHS BY MONDAY WILL BE  
10 TO 20 DEGREES COOLER THAN SUNDAY WITH A BRISK NORTHWEST WIND.  
COOLER TEMPERATURES ARE THEN EXPECTED TO PERSIST FOR MUCH OF THE  
UPCOMING HOLIDAY WEEK ALONG WITH SOME MINOR CHANCES FOR PRECIPITATION  
AROUND WEDNESDAY.
