..FOG EXPECTED THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT

A FEW LOCATIONS AROUND THE KANSAS CITY METRO HAVE REPORTED
VISIBILITIES OVER THE PAST HOUR THAT HAVE DROPPED BELOW 1 MILE,
WITH A FEW SPOTS UNDER 1/2 MILE. EXPECT THIS KIND OF FOG FOR MOST
OF THE NIGHT. WE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR CONDITIONS, AND IF IT
APPEARS THAT PROLONGED PERIODS OF VISIBILITY LESS THAN 1/4 MILE
ARE POSSIBLE, AN EXPANSION OF THE DENSE FOG ADVISORY THAT IS JUST
NORTHWEST OF THE KANSAS CITY METRO COULD BE NEEDED.

PLEASE USE CAUTION IF TRAVELING THIS EVENING. IF FOG ENDS UP
BECOMING DENSE, THERE MAY BE SLICK PATCHES OF ROADWAYS WITH
TEMPERATURES JUST SLIGHTLY BELOW FREEZING RESULTING IN FREEZING
FOG.
