SOME LUCKY ONES GOT CLOSE TO THREE QUARTER OF AN INCH WHILE THE
SOUTHWEST OF THE LOCAL AREA/SOUTHERN RIO GRANDE SAW VERY LITTLE TO

AS IT MOVED FROM WEST TO EAST. SEVERAL LOCATIONS EXPERIENCED A 10 TO
ALMOST 20 DEGREE DROP IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. THE OTHER STORY
ABOUT THE FRONT PASSAGE CONTINUES TO BE THE MODERATE TO STRONG WIND
GUSTS WITH HIGHEST SPEEDS RANGING FROM THE LOWER 20S TO MID 30S.

ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS WITH RELATIVE HUMIDITY IN THE TEENS AND
LOWER 20S ACROSS THE RIO GRANDE, PARTS OF THE SOUTHERN EDWARDS
PLATEAU AND TO THE EAST OF INTERSTATE 35 INCLUDING BEXAR, WILSON AND
KARNES COUNTIES. THIS SITUATION BRINGS FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS FOR
THOSE AREAS THE REST OF THIS AFTERNOON. A FIRE DANGER STATEMENT IS
IN EFFECT THROUGH 5 PM CST.

ONE OF TODAY'S FRONT. UNDER CLEAR SKIES, LIGHT WINDS AND LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES EXPECT TEMPERATURES TO DROP TO THE LOWER
40S ACROSS THE HILL COUNTRY AND 50S ELSEWHERE.
