- WARM AND HUMID CONDITIONS CONTINUE FOR ONE MORE NIGHT. THERE IS A  
60% CHANCE OF DENSE FOG WEDNESDAY MORNING ACROSS THE COASTAL PLAINS.  
- A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION DURING THE FIRST HALF OF  
THE DAY WEDNESDAY WITH A 20-50% CHANCE OF BRIEF SHOWERS ALONG IT.  
- BREEZY, COOLER AND DRIER CONDITIONS FORECAST BEHIND THE FRONT WITH  
A LIGHT FREEZE FORECAST ACROSS THE HILL COUNTRY THURSDAY MORNING  
 
ONE MORE NIGHT OF UNSEASONABLY WARM AND HUMID CONDITIONS ACROSS  
SOUTH-CENTRAL TEXAS. CONFIDENCE IS RELATIVELY HIGH (60%) THAT DENSE  
FOG WILL DEVELOP AGAIN ACROSS THE COASTAL PLAINS EARLY WEDNESDAY  
MORNING. AFTER COORDINATION WITH SURROUNDING OFFICES WE HAVE ELECTED  
TO ISSUE A DENSE FOG ADVISORY FOR LATE TONIGHT/WEDNESDAY MORNING FOR  
FAYETTE, GONZALES, LAVACA, DEWITT, AND KARNES COUNTIES. FOG  
DEVELOPMENT IS ALSO LIKELY FARTHER INLAND, TOWARD THE I-35 CORRIDOR  
AND SOUTHERN RIO GRANDE, BUT AT THE MOMENT CONFIDENCE IN DENSE FOG  
IN THIS AREA IS LOWER THAN THE COASTAL PLAINS.  
 
THE COLD FRONT IS ON TRACK TO MOVE THROUGH THE HILL COUNTRY AND  
SOUTHERN EDWARDS PLATEAU BETWEEN 6-9A WEDNESDAY, THE NORTHERN RIO  
GRANDE AND I-35 CORRIDOR 9A-12P, AND COASTAL PLAINS 11A-2P. HREF IS  
INDICATING A BROKEN, THIN BAND OF SHOWERS ALONG THE LEADING EDGE OF  
THE FRONT. CLEAR AND DRY POST FRONTAL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO  
DEVELOP IN THE AFTERNOON ALONG WITH BREEZY CONDITIONS. WIND GUSTS UP  
TO 30 MPH ARE INDICATED.

DRY AND COOL WEATHER CONDITIONS CONTINUE IN THE WAKE OF WEDNESDAY'S  
COLD FRONT WITH TODAY'S HIGHS IN THE 60S ACROSS MOST LOCATIONS.  
SKIES ARE FORECAST TO STAY SUNNY THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND NIGHT.  
OVERNIGHT LOWS ARE FORECAST TO RANGE FROM THE 40S AND 50S. BY  
FRIDAY, AN UPPER LEVEL SHORT WAVE PASSES THROUGH THE LOCAL AREA  
WHILE AT THE SURFACE, A WEAK AND DRY COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH SOUTH  
CENTRAL TEXAS. FRIDAY'S HIGHS ARE FORECAST TO STAY IN THE 60S OVER  
MOST PLACES. OVERNIGHT LOWS ARE FORECAST TO RANGE FROM THE MID 30S  
ACROSS THE HILL COUNTRY, LOWER 40S OVER PARTS OF THE I-35 CORRIDOR  
AND COASTAL PLAINS AND UPPER 40S ALONG THE RIO GRANDE. THE UPCOMING  
WEEKEND LOOKS DRY WITH SEASONAL TEMPERATURES WITH HIGHS IN THE 60S  
AND SUNDAY'S LOWS IN THE 40S AND LOWER 50S. BY MONDAY, SURFACE  
SOUTHERLY FLOW INCREASES AHEAD OF THE NEXT COLD FRONT WHICH IS  
FORECAST TO PUSH ACROSS THE LOCAL AREA ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO THE  
EVENING. LIGHT SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE AHEAD OF THE FRONTAL PASSAGE  
THROUGHOUT THE DAY ON TUESDAY. THE BETTER CHANCES FOR RAIN ARE  
FORECAST FOR AREAS ALONG AND EAST OF HIGHWAY 77.

ALL TERMINALS ARE VFR TO START THIS PERIOD. VFR CONDITIONS WILL  
PREVAIL THROUGH THE EVENING. LOW CLOUDS WILL DEVELOP AROUND MIDNIGHT  
IN THE AUSTIN AND SAN ANTONIO AREAS, BUT NOT UNTIL NEAR SUNRISE AT  
DRT. ALL AIRPORTS WILL DROP TO IFR/LIFR BEFORE A COLD FRONT MOVES  
THROUGH THE REGION DURING THE LATE MORNING. WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE  
NORTH/NORTHWEST CLEARING SKIES. WIND SPEEDS WILL INCREASE TO 10-15  
KTS WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 KTS DURING THE AFTERNOON.
