THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND  
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.  
   
DAY ONE
 
TONIGHT.  
 
OVERNIGHT TONIGHT INTO EARLY SUNDAY MORNING, A VERY STRONG COLD  
FRONT WILL SURGE SOUTHWARD THROUGH OUR ENTIRE FORECAST AREA. AS  
THE FRONT PASSES, STRONG NORTH TO NORTHWEST WINDS WILL OCCUR,  
SUSTAINED AT LEAST 30 TO 40 MPH, WITH GUSTS AT LEAST 50 TO 60 MPH.  
A HIGH WIND WARNING GOES INTO EFFECT AT 3 AM FOR OUR ENTIRE AREA.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN
 
SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.  
 
A HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR OUR ENTIRE FORECAST  
AREA UNTIL 9 PM SUNDAY. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 30 TO 45 MPH WITH  
GUSTS UP TO 65 MPH ARE EXPECTED. A SPOTTY WIND GUST TO 70 MPH  
CAN'T BE RULED OUT, MAINLY PRIOR TO 4 PM. DUE TO THE STRONG WINDS,  
BLOWING DUST IS ALSO POSSIBLE SUNDAY IN SOME AREAS, ESPECIALLY  
NEAR AND DOWNWIND OF THE RECENTLY BURNED AREAS IN DAWSON COUNTY  
NEBRASKA.  
 
IN ADDITION, PARTS OF MAINLY OUR NEBRASKA FORECAST AREA,  
ESPECIALLY COUNTIES NORTH-THROUGH-EAST OF THE TRI CITIES, WILL  
EXPERIENCE SOME LIGHT SNOW DURING THE DAY SUNDAY, WHICH WILL  
RESULT IN BRIEFLY REDUCED VISIBILITY TO UNDER 1 MILE, AND SOME  
SLICK SPOTS AS TEMPERATURES DROP BELOW FREEZING.  
 
FINALLY, LATE SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING, VERY COLD WIND  
CHILLS AS COLD AS -5 TO -15 DEGREES WILL DEVELOP ACROSS MOST OF  
OUR FORECAST AREA...UNUSUALLY COLD FOR MID-MARCH.
