AREAS OF SNOW SPREAD SOUTHWARD ACROSS KANSAS TODAY WITH SOME LIGHT  
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS MAINLY OVER SOUTHERN KANSAS. AFTERNOON HIGHS  
WERE IN THE TEENS WITH NORTH WINDS OF 5 TO 10 MPH.  
 
ARCTIC SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER THE HEARTLAND TONIGHT  
WITH VERY COLD TEMPERATURES AND CLEAR SKIES. DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS  
WILL AFFECT THE ENTIRE REGION OVERNIGHT. VALUES WILL RANGE FROM  
20 TO 30 BELOW ZERO OVER NEBRASKA AND PARTS OF NORTHERN KANSAS,  
TO THE SINGLE DIGITS BELOW ZERO IN NORTHERN OKLAHOMA.  
 
DANGEROUS WELL BELOW ZERO WIND CHILLS WILL AFFECT THE ENTIRE  
REGION EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. MEANWHILE SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL  
SHIFT EASTWARD ON TUESDAY WITH SOUTHERLY WINDS INCREASING. DAYTIME  
HIGHS WILL BE IN THE 20S AND 30S OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS.
