ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE WAS SPRAWLED OUT ACROSS EASTERN KANSAS EARLY  
THIS MORNING. LIGHT WINDS, CLEAR CONDITIONS AND RECORD COLD WAS  
OCCURRING. EARLY MORNING WIND CHILLS WERE AS LOW AS 30 BELOW IN  
LIBERAL, KANSAS WHILE MUCH OF THE AREA WAS EXPERIENCING 10 TO 20  
BELOW WIND CHILLS.  
 
BREEZY SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL RETURN TO KANSAS TODAY WHICH WILL  
ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO RISE CLOSE TO 40 IN WESTERN KANSAS WHILE  
NORTHEAST KANSAS TOPS OUT IN THE TEENS AND LOW 20S.  
 
CLOUDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE TONIGHT, ESPECIALLY OVER NORTHEAST  
KANSAS WHERE A FEW SNOW FLURRIES WILL BE POSSIBLE TOWARD MORNING.  
LOWS TONIGHT ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM THE MID AND UPPER TEENS TO  
NEAR 20 IN SOME AREAS.
