OVERALL, WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE TYPICAL OF THOSE EXPECTED IN  
EARLY SEPTEMBER THIS WEEK WITH VERY WARM DAYTIME TEMPERATURES AND  
MILD OVERNIGHT LOWS ALONG CHANCES FOR LIGHT RAINFALL. THE  
ADVERTISED COOL-DOWN FOR LATE IN THE FORECAST PERIOD HAS BEEN  
DELAYED EVEN MORE AND NOW LOOKS MORE LIKELY TO HOLD OFF UNTIL NEXT  
WEEKEND.  
 
THE FLOW ALOFT SHOULD AMPLIFY QUICKLY AS AN UPPER-LEVEL RIDGE  
OVER THE ROCKIES ELONGATES AND DEEP TROUGHING DIGS OVER THE  
EASTERN HALF OF THE CONUS. UPPER-LEVEL HEIGHTS IN THE CORE OF THIS  
TROUGH WILL BE ABOUT 2-4 STANDARD DEVIATIONS BELOW NORMAL FOR  
THIS TIME OF YEAR - KEEPING TEMPS FROM REBOUNDING TO STRONGLY.  
EARLIER GUIDANCE FOR BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES HAS BACKED OFF WITH  
COOLER SURFACE AIR WAITING LARGELY UNTIL NEXT WEEKEND.
