ISOLATED WEAK SHOWERS CONTINUE TO MEANDER ACROSS THE ISLAND CHAIN
AND SURROUNDING WATERS THROUGH THIS MORNING. A FEW ISLAND
COMMUNITIES IN THE LOWER AND MIDDLE KEYS HAVE RECEIVED LESS THAN A
TENTH OF AN INCH OF RAINFALL TOTALS, OTHERWISE THE REMAINDER OF
THE KEYS HAVE REMAINED DRY. THE KKEY 12Z SOUNDING REVEALED THAT
MOISTURE IS STILL PRESENT IN THE LOWER LEVELS AND MIMIC PWAT
CONFIRMS THIS, THEREFORE, ISOLATED SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
THE AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT. AS A HIGH PRESSURE SLIDES FURTHER EAST
INTO THE ATLANTIC, BREEZES WILL CONTINUE TO SLACKEN ACROSS OUR
CWA. OBSERVATIONS ALONG THE REEF ARE EAST TO SOUTHEAST AT NEAR 10
KNOTS AND WILL SLACKEN TO 5 TO 10 KNOTS GOING INTO THIS EVENING.

DENSE FOG, CURRENTLY VISIBLE ON GOES-16 SATELLITE AND REPORTED BY
AN OBSERVER, IS LOCATED IN THE DEEP GULF WATERS AND SURROUNDING
THE DRY TORTUGAS REDUCING VISBILITIES TO 1 MILE OR LESS. MORE FOG
CAN BE SEEN MOVING OFF OF MAINLAND FLORIDA SO FOG MAY LINGER
THROUGH THIS EVENING. A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE
DEEP GULF WATERS. NO OTHER CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE CURRENT
