LATEST OBSERVATIONS AND WEB CAMS SHOW THE SEA FOG HANGING AROUND A  
LITTLE LONGER SO HAVE EXTENDED THE DENSE FOG ADVISORY FOR LOWER  
PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA THROUGH 11 AM  
WITH THE LOWEST VISIBILITIES NEAR THE COASTAL AND AREAS AND  
AROUND THE LAKES. REMAINDER OF THE FORECAST IS UNCHANGED AT THIS  
TIME.

A WARM AND MUGGY AIRMASS IS CURRENTLY OVER THE REGION. STRATUS IS  
BLANKETING THE AREA AND FOG IS GRADUALLY THICKENING ALONG THE  
COAST. MOISTURE CONTINUES TO BE DRIVEN NORTH FROM THE GULF BETWEEN  
A RIDGE OVER THE ATLANTIC AND A FRONTAL SYSTEM OVER THE PLAINS.  
 
THROUGH TODAY AN UPPER DISTURBANCE OVER TX AND OK WILL PUSH  
NORTHEAST WHILE DRIVING A COLD FRONT SOUTH. AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM A  
FEW SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AS DAYTIME HEATING OCCURS  
ACROSS INLAND PORTIONS OF THE LOCAL AREA. THE MAIN EVENT WILL BE  
FROM LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH EARLY MONDAY. WHILE THE MAIN  
DYNAMICS ARE EXPECTED TO BE REMOVED TO THE NORTH, THE SOUTHERN END  
OF A BROKEN LINE OF STORMS MAY MOVE THROUGH INTERIOR SE TX INTO  
THE ATCHAFALAYA BASIN. SPC HAS HIGHLIGHTED PORTIONS OF THE AREA AS  
A MARGINAL TO SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER MAINLY TONIGHT INTO  
EARLY MONDAY.  
 
A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH MONDAY WITH DRIER CONDITIONS AND SLIGHTLY  
COOLER WEATHER MONDAY.  
 
THE ASSOCIATED RIDGE WILL EXIT EAST BOUND TUESDAY BEGINNING THE  
RETURN FLOW BY AFTERNOON.

VICINITY OF FL WHILE AN UPPER LOW MOVES AROUND THE SW STATES.  
MULTIPLE DAYS OF DREARY WEATHER MAY OCCUR, BUT THE GREATER CHANCES  
FOR RAIN MAY STAY NORTH OF THE AREA UNTIL THE WEEKEND WHEN  
ANOTHER COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH.

POSSIBILITY OF IFR CONDITIONS AS LIGHT SOUTH WINDS CONTINUE AHEAD  
OF A COLD FRONT. THIS FRONT WILL SLIDE INTO THE FORECAST AREA  
AFTER 31/08Z WITH POTENTIAL FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A  
LINE AHEAD OF IT FOR THE LOUISIANA TERMINALS UNTIL BETWEEN  
31/13Z-15Z.

FROM SHORE. SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL CONTINUE UNTIL A COLD FRONT WILL  
BRIEFLY SHIFTS WINDS TO THE NORTH LATE MONDAY. SOUTHERLY FLOW  
RETURNS LATER DURING THE DAY ON TUESDAY AND WILL PREVAIL FOR THE  
REMAINDER OF THE WEEK.
