THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO,  
SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WESTERN TEXAS.  
   
DAY ONE  
TODAY AND TONIGHT.  
 
THERE IS A LOW RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND  
TONIGHT ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO AND FAR WEST TEXAS.  
THE MAIN CONCERNS WITH THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE TORRENTIAL  
RAINFALL, FREQUENT LIGHTNING, DAMAGING WINDS, AND LARGE HAIL.  
 
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR EDDY, LEA, ANDREWS, AND GAINES  
COUNTIES BEGINNING TONIGHT. EXCESSIVE RAINFALL FROM MULTIPLE ROUNDS  
OF SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE.  
   
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  
SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.  
 
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH COUNTIES FOR EDDY, LEA, ANDREWS, AND GAINES  
COUNTIES THROUGH AT LEAST SATURDAY MORNING. EXCESSIVE RAINFALL FROM  
MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE.  
 
A LOW RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE SATURDAY FOR  
MUCH OF THE AREA. THE MAIN THREATS WITH THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS  
WILL CONTINUE TO BE TORRENTIAL RAINFALL, FREQUENT LIGHTNING, DAMAGING  
WINDS, AND LARGE HAIL. AN ISOLATED THREAT OF VERY LARGE HAIL OR A  
TORNADO CAN NOT BE RULED OUT AS WELL.
