AFTER A BREEZY DAY, WINDS BECOME MUCH LIGHTER THIS EVENING AND FOR  
LATER TONIGHT. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE MOVES ACROSS THE PANHANDLE AND  
INTO NORTH-CENTRAL TEXAS SHIFTING WINDS AROUND TO THE EAST-  
NORTHEAST. CLEAR SKIES, DRY AIR, AND LIGHT WINDS WILL COMBINE TO  
ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO DROP EFFICIENTLY. TEMPERATURES FOR MOST END UP  
NEAR FREEZING WITH A FEW SPOTS IN THE UPPER 20S. MID TO UPPER 30S  
REMAIN FOR AREAS ALONG THE RIO GRANDE. THE CHILL IN THE AIR IS  
SHORT-LIVED AND TEMPERATURES REBOUND BACK ABOVE NORMAL FOR  
THURSDAY WITH HIGHS IN THE 60S TO LOW 70S. LOWS MOVE UP A FEW TO  
SEVERAL DEGREES THURSDAY NIGHT. NO PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED IN  
THE SHORT TERM.

BEHIND A COLD FRONT, WHERE HIGHS ARE TO BE IN THE UPPER 50S TO LOW  
60S. THIS IS SHORT-LIVED AS SOUTHERLY RETURN FLOW BOUNCE  
TEMPERATURES BACK INTO THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S FOR MOST ON  
SATURDAY. EACH AFTERNOON THROUGHOUT THE EXTENDED LOOKS TO SEE HIGHS  
IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S AS SOUTHERLY WINDS AND SUNNY SKIES  
DOMINATE THE AREA. SOME LOCATIONS IN THE TRANS PECOS AND PRESIDIO  
VALLEY MAY SEE HIGHS IN THE MID TO UPPER 70S NEXT WEEK. NO
